Family Carcharhinidae

Carcharhinus - Carcharhinus is the type genus of the requiem shark family, Carcharhinidae.

Rhizoprionodon - Rhizoprionodon is a genus of requiem sharks, family Carcharhinidae, commonly known as sharpnose sharks because of their long, pointed snouts.

Galeocerdo - The tiger shark, Galeocerdo cuvier is a species of requiem shark and the only member of the genus Galeocerdo.
