Blue-gray carpet shark

The bluegrey carpetshark or Colclough's shark is an uncommon species of carpet shark endemic to shallow inshore waters off northeastern Australia.

The Blue-gray carpet shark lives in the demersal, marine, depth range - 6 m environment.

Blue-gray Carpet Shark(Heteroscyllium colcloughi), - both of which are found in eastern Australia(Queensland & New South Wales). Both species tend to prefer water temps about 63-73F (17-23 C). Both tend to be gray with gray bands (at least in some stage of their developement). More

Blue-gray Carpet Sharks in Captivity: This species is fairly rarely kept by private individuals, but does sometimes show up in LFS of North America. Like most carpet sharks it seems to do quite well in captivity, once acclimated. More
