Genus Alcippe

Gould's Fulvetta - The Dusky Fulvetta is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in China, India, and Taiwan. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

Rufous-winged Fulvetta - The Rufous-winged Fulvetta is a bird species of the Old World babbler family . Its common name is misleading, because it is not a close relative of the "typical" fulvettas, which are now in the genus Fulvetta and are actually Sylviidae.

Golden-breasted Fulvetta - Traditionally united with the other "fulvettas" in Alcippe in the old world babbler family , it is actually closer to the typical warblers and hence placed in the Sylviidae even in their new, more restricted sense, in a monotypic genus Lioparus.

Yellow-throated Fulvetta - The Yellow-throated Fulvetta is a bird species of the Old World babbler family . Its common name is misleading, because it is not a close relative of the "typical" fulvettas, which are now in the genus Fulvetta and are actually Sylviidae.

Streak-throated Fulvetta - The Grey-hooded Fulvetta is a bird species in the family Sylviidae. Like the other typical fulvettas, it was long included in the Timaliidae genus Alcippe.

Rusty-capped Fulvetta - It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Alcippe grotei - It is often considered conspecific with the Mountain Fulvetta, Alcippe peracensis, but the two forms differ in morphology and vocalisations, and are separated altitudinally. Black-browed Fulvetta occurs primarily below 400 m, and Mountain Fulvetta above 900 m.

Ludlow's Fulvetta - The Ludlow's Fulvetta is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, and Nepal.

Alcippe manipurensis - The Streak-throated Fulvetta is a bird species in the family Sylviidae. Like the other typical fulvettas, it was long included in the Timaliidae genus Alcippe. In addition, it was long included in F. cinereiceps as a subspecies, and the common name "Streak-throated Fulvetta" was applied to all these birds. The typical F. cinereiceps are now called Grey-hooded Fulvetta.

Gray-cheeked Fulvetta - It is found in China, Laos, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam in evergreen mountain forests.

Nepal Fulvetta - It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Taiwan. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Mountain Fulvetta - The Black-browed Fulvetta, Alcippe grotei, is sometimes considered to be conspecific with Mountain Fulvetta, but the two forms differ in morphology and vocalisations, and are separated altitudinally. Black-browed Fulvetta occurs primarily below 400 m, and Mountain Fulvetta above 900 m.

Brown-cheeked Fulvetta - This species is one of those retained in the genus Alcippe after the true fulvettas and some others were removed; the group had turned out to unite quite unrelated birds. Its closest relatives are probably the Brown Fulvetta, and the Black-browed Fulvetta which was only recently recognized as a distinct species again. The Javan Fulvetta and the Nepal Fulvetta might also belong into this group.

Javan Fulvetta - Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montanes.

Spectacled Fulvetta - It is found in China, Laos, and possibly Vietnam. Its natural habitat is temperate forests.
