White-faced Redstart - The White-faced Whitestart , sometimes known by the less accurate name White-faced Redstart, is a species of bird in the Parulidae family. It is endemic to humid highland forests in the Tepuis of south-western Venezuela. Due to its isolated range, it is very poorly known.

Brown-capped Redstart - The Brown-capped Redstart , or, more accurately, the Brown-capped Whitestart, is a species of bird in the Parulidae family. It is found in humid Andean forests and woodlands in Bolivia and north-western Argentina. It sometimes includes the Tepui Redstart as a subspecies.

 

Saffron-breasted Redstart - The Guaiquinima Whitestart , also known as the Saffron-breasted Whitestart, is a species of bird in the Parulidae family. It is endemic to humid highland forests on Cerro Guaiquinima in south-eastern Venezuela. It is sometimes known by the less accurate names Guaiquinima Redstart and Saffron-breasted Redstart. It is threatened by habitat loss.

 

Myioborus castaneocapilla - The Tepui Redstart , or, more accurately, the Tepui Whitestart, is a species of bird in the Parulidae family. It is found in humid highland forest, woodland and scrub in the Tepuis in southern Venezuela, western Guyana and northern Brazil. It is sometimes included as a subspecies of the Brown-capped Redstart.

 

Yellow-crowned Redstart - The Yellow-crowned Redstart , or, more accurately, the Yellow-crowned Whitestart or Santa Marta Whitestart, is a species of bird in the Parulidae family. It is endemic to highland forest and woodland in the Santa Marta Mountains in Colombia.

 

Spectacled Redstart - It is found in humid Andean forests, woodland and scrub from southern Colombia to Bolivia

 

Slate-throated Redstart - It is found disjunctly in humid highland forests in Mexico, Central America, the Andes from western Venezuela to north-western Argentina, the Venezuelan Coastal Range, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Tepuis.

 

Golden-fronted Redstart - It is found in forest, woodland and scrub in the Andes of Colombia and far western Venezuela.

 

Yellow-faced Redstart - The Paria Whitestart , also known as the Yellow-faced Whitestart, is a species of bird in the Parulidae family. It is endemic to the Paria Peninsula in Venezuela, where it occurs in humid forests, especially near the edge. It is sometimes known by the less accurate names Paria Redstart or Yellow-faced Redstart. It is threatened by on-going habitat loss within its tiny range.

Painted redstart - Painted Redstarts grow to be about 12.5 – 15 cm in length. The plumage of these birds is mostly black in color, although these birds have white wing patches, white outer tail feathers, white bellies, and white semicircles around the bottoms of their eyes. The most distinguishable feature of a mature Painted Redstart is its vivid scarlet-red breast. Painted Redstarts are unusual amongst birds, and especially amongst warblers in that the female Painted Redstart is capable of singing just as well as a male, and during spring courtship a pair will often bond by singing together.

Collared Redstart - The Collared Redstart is common at heights between 1500 m and the timberline in mossy mountain forests, ravines, second growth, and adjacent pastures.
