Eucrosia aurantiaca

It grows from bulbs 10cm long and 7-8cm in diameter. There are usually two stalked leaves, blue-green in colour, with a blade which is 40cm long and 20-25cm wide. The leaves do not appear until after flowering. The flowers are umbellate, on a stalk up to 1m in length, yellow, with stamens with prominent long filaments.

Eucrosia aurantiaca is a species of plant in the Amaryllidaceae family. It is endemic to Ecuador.
