Plum-headed Finch - It is found in dry savanna and subtropical/ tropical dry shrubland in Australia. The status of the species is evaluated as Least Concern.

Crimson Finch - It is commonly found in moist savanna, and subtropical/ tropical moist shrubland. The status of the species is evaluated as Least Concern.

Star Finch - It has three subspecies:

Red-browed Firetail - The species is distinguished by the bright red stripe above the eye, and bright red rump. The rest of the body is grey, with olive wing coverts and collar. Juveniles do not have red brow marks, and lack olive colouration on the collar and wing coverts. The adults are 11-12cm long.
