Gray-breasted Crake

The Grey-breasted Crake is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is found in Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are swamps and pastureland.

The Gray-breasted Crake is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.

The crake (most likely the Gray-breasted Crake Laterallus exilis) is a small water bird that is rarely seen due to its secretive habits.
