Genus Phapitreron

Amethyst Brown-Dove - It is endemic to the Philippines. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

 

Phapitreron brunneiceps - Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

 

Dark-eared Brown Dove - Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. However, it seems to decline less dramatically than anticipated. It is thus downlisted from Critically Endangered to Endangered status in the 2007 IUCN Red List.
