Maranon Thrush

The Marañón Thrush is a species of bird in the Turdidae family. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

The Maranon Thrush is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.

Maranon Thrush, Little Woodstar and the Maranon race of Tropical Gnatcatcher. Further down towards the river the erratic Yellow-faced parrotlet can be seen as well as Buff-bridled Inca-finch and Black-necked Woodpecker, all Peruvian endemics. Andean Condor and Peruvian Pigeon occurs here as well. More
