The Scaly-breasted Wren-babbler (Pnoepyga albiventer) is a species of passerine bird in the Old World babbler family Timaliidae. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam. The Taiwan Wren-babbler was once treated as a subspecies of this species. Its natural habitat is subtropical moist montane forest. Within that habitat it is usually found near water.
