The Red-tailed Minla (Minla ignotincta) is a bird species in the family Timaliidae. Most modern authors consider its genus Minla monotypic. Like the two other species formerly placed in Minla, it is probably part of a group including such other genera as Actinodura (barwings), Heterophasia (sibias) and Liocichla (liocichlas).
