Cinnamon Bracken Warbler

The Cinnamon Bracken-warbler is a species of Old World warbler in the Sylviidae family. It is found in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and subtropical or tropical moist shrubland.

The Cinnamon Bracken Warbler is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.

Rush-Warbler, Cinnamon Bracken Warbler, Mountain Yellow Warbler, White-browed Crombec, striking Neumann’s Short-tailed Warbler and Red-faced Woodland Warbler. However, the undoubted stars of Nyungwe are Red-collared Mountain-Babbler, Ruwenzori Turaco and Purple-breasted Sunbird. The Turaco is rather common and can even be seen crossing over the tarred road that runs through the forest. However, the other two species are more challenging.
