This enigmatic wee forest weaver is a Kenyan endemic which is only found in the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest & in some patches of Brachystegia forest to the north & west at Galana Ranch & Dakatcha Forest. The population was estimated to be not more than 1,000-2,000 pairs in the early 1980s and there has been no more recent assessment. More
