Desert thrasher

Le Conte's Thrasher is named for American entomologist John Lawrence LeConte.

Harris’ hawk, blue-winged teal, desert thrasher, ruddy duck, cinnamon teal, lesser goldfinch, gila woodpecker, many vermillion flycatchers and plenty of black-chinned hummingbirds at the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area: Hummingbirds I don’t keep track of the mammals I’ve seen, but I did spot a round-tailed ground squirrel looking for food in a tree.
