Rhodopechys obsoletus

The Desert Finch , sometimes called Lichtenstein's Desert Finch, is a large brown true finch found in southern Eurasia. Its taxonomy is confused, and it has formerly been placed in Fringilla, Bucanetes, Rhodospiza and Rhodopechys.

The Rhodopechys obsoletus is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.
