Ornate Fruit Dove

It is very beautiful because of the many colors of feathers they have.

The Ornate Fruit Dove is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.

Okay, to be fair, I Googled Ornate fruit dove - the only reference Wikipedia has is that it’s from Indonesia and New Guinea…and live in “montanes” (heavily forested mountains) so that explains it a bit. Their photo by the way is inferior to this one :) quickwitter: allcreatures: The Ornate Fruit-Dove was spotted at 1,650 meters elevation. More
